Hi, I’m Jack!
I’m a permaculture designer from Essex and the guy behind Jack’s Patch.
I believe that everyone should be able to put a seed in the ground and watch it grow!
Whether you’re in the city or the countryside, a cottage or a studio apartment, my mission is to make growing good food accessible to all.

I’ve transformed pub gardens into edible wonderlands, university rooftops into urban oases, and long-neglected back gardens into personal paradises.
Work with me
-
A permaculture garden design offers a regenerative approach that mimics natural ecosystems, creating a self-sufficient and resilient landscape tailored to your needs.
-
A 'Growtainer' is a shipping container modified for the use of growing microgreens and mushrooms for commercial use.
This is a bespoke service tailored to whether you'd like to focus on microgreens/mushrooms, or a hybrid of both.
-
One of my favorite aspects of my work is the opportunity to connect with people face-to-face through talks, workshops, and retreats.
I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at a variety of events and festivals on topics like food growing, land restoration, community, and our planet’s future. I've also led workshops on mushroom cultivation and permaculture farming, and designed programs for retreats in both the UK and abroad.
If you’d like to bring my expertise to your talk, festival, event, or retreat, please feel free to reach out!

I'm always interested in collaborations, whether it's with a brand that shares my values or writing an article for press. Get in touch to discuss your idea.
“It was an absolute pleasure having Jack's Patch bring new life to our wreck of an outdoor space! Now we have a beautiful garden that both us and our bug friends love. The green and peaceful space is really improving everyone's mental health and diets as well!”
